Hej Hej! My name is Emma and I am a small business owner selling Swedish vintage and antique wares. I also work part-time for a beautiful, independent framing and art restoration company. But, I would love to reignite my passion for Interior design and Styling along side my accustomed roles. I love arranging things and my combined studies in Surface Pattern Design and Graphic Design helped me realise this.
Before landing my dream job as an Interior Designer for IKEA communications of Sweden, I worked as an art worker for Vogue magazine and The World of Interiors. After this, I became a buyer specialising in handmade silver, fused glass and pottery, eventually becoming a window dresser for independent shops. I worked in France and Russia prior to my role as Visual Merchandiser and Interior Designer for IKEA, planning various departments within store before my move to Småland, Sweden. Småland was my home for five years, where I lived the Swedish fairytale in a red wooden house in the woods working as an Interior Designer for the IKEA catalogue. But, after my Son was born, I decided to embark on a new adventure starting my online business selling Swedish vintage wares. But, with my Son now at the age of 11, I wish to pick up my styling and design flair again and look forward to new opportunities along side my regular work.
